Why Try PRP?

Fast & Safe

There is a far lower chance of infection to PRP than with surgery. These injections will not scar and, compared to surgery, the recovery time is considerably shorter. Also, PRP works 3-4 times faster than Prolotherapy.

Natural

PRP is a solution that is extracted from the patient’s own blood. It is 100% natural. Other than Lidocaine, a numbing agent, there is nothing else added. Lidocaine may be left out upon request.

Cost-Effective

Compared to the expense of surgery and post-op physical therapy, PRP is a fraction of the cost. Another consideration is the opportunity cost of being unable to work or to fully enjoy the activities you love.

What is PRP?

PRP stands for Platelet-Rich Plasma. To get PRP, we start with drawing several vials of the patient’s blood. These vials are then put into a centrifuge to gently separate the platelets from the plasma. The plasma and platelet layer rise to the top and are drawn off. This process is repeated once more to get a highly concentrated solution of Platelet-Rich Plasma.

With PRP, we are harnessing and delivering everything the body needs to heal itself directly into the affected area. It’s a very potent and powerful therapy and works 3-4 times faster than Prolotherapy.
